First and foremost we would like to say Thank You to everyone that stops by our board. We hope you like what you see, enough to become a member.
We are pretty laid back and don't have very many rules but we do ask that you follow the ones we have.
1. No Spamming - If you are caught spamming you will be deleted. Try and make every post meaningful. If you are caught trying to get our members to join other sites (whether it be through pm's/email/etc), you will be deleted.
2. No Lurking - We know how easy it is to leave a page up in your browser and walk away from the computer but please try to log out of the forum before you do.
3. No Bashing - Threats, disrespect, or bashing of any form in regards to another member is strictly prohibited. If you are having a problem with another member, contact an Admin immediately and try to resolve it outside of the board if possible.
4. No Drama - We understand how easy it is for drama to get started, but please try not to encourage it. Again, if there is a problem, contact an Admin.
5. Fake User ID's - or Impersonation is NOT ALLOWED. If you are caught doing either one, you will be banned and reported.
6. No Offensive Posts - All we ask on this subject is that you take into consideration the other members and try to get your point across in a respectful manner. We don't support or condone anything sexist, racist or discriminatory in remark. Profanity is ALLOWED but try to keep it to a minimum and in the event you need to drop some F-Bombs please use the proper room. (I.E Anger Management)
We reserve the right to delete or move any post that we feel needs to be dealt with, at any time.
7. No digging up old posts - Please do not reply to posts that haven't been posted in for over a month. This buries new posts, and makes it difficult for our members to see what they've replied to and what they haven't.
8. Obey Copyright Laws - Basically just give the creator their proper credit and recognition. No stealing and claiming as your own. The use of all smiley's and shop items are legal to use, and not copyrighted.
9. No pm'ing about other sites - If a member pm's you about another message board, please pm one of the administrators, unless you asked this person specifically for information on the board.
10.. Stay active! - If you don't fill out the newbie questionnaire within 7 days of registering, your account may be deleted. Of course, you are totally to re-register! Also, we ask that you post at least once every month, hopefully more!! If you don't post at all in two months, you will receive an email. Once the email is sent to you, you will have one week to log in and post. If you don't, your account will be deleted. If you know you won't be able to post in 30 days for some reason, let us know so we won't deactivate your account.
11. What happens on MBR, stays on MBR - If you read something in one of the forums, or talk about something with someone (either through shouts or pm's) do not talk about it with other people, unless you have permission.
12. No goodbye posts. - If you decide to leave our site, for one reason or another, please do not post a goodbye post. This only causes drama. If you want to keep in touch with anyone, you can pm them your contact information before you leave.
13. No name-dropping. - Please do not mention other parenting websites by name, unless they are an affiliate of ours (those can be found in the Links and Affiliates section, under Board Navigation, on our home page) or a topsite.
14. No double posting. - When you start or post in a thread, PLEASE do not post again until other people have replied. It also means don't post the same (or similar) threads in multiple forums and especially not in the same forum. If you don't understand what this means, please pm an administrator.
15. Please keep articles and blogthings quizzes to a minimum - While we all love to read articles and take quizzes, please make sure that you are also posting "real" posts. We do not like to see so many quizzes and articles that we end up not reading any of them.
16. No advertising in your signature or profile - Please do not post any business links in your signature until you have reached 250 posts. If you post them before then, you will receive a warning and it will be deleted. If you continue to put your link in your signature/profile AFTER it has been deleted, you will not be able to have a signature. If you would like to buy advertising space on our home page, there is an information link on the home page, under Board Navigation.
17. If you ask to be deleted from the site for some reason, you will not be allowed back on. This keeps the drama on here to a minimum. Of course, this doesn't apply to those who's accounts are deleted for inactivity.
18. Reply to Admin Staff pm's. This is common courtesy -- if someone from the admin staff sends you a pm concerning something you have or haven't done, please reply to at least let us know you have read and understood the pm.
Once you have registered and filled out the Newbie Questionnaire, all the other forums, except the private ones, will open up and you will have access to them. We do this as a precautionary measure.
